Photo essay project documenting padel culture in Tokyo for Padel Magazine in New York.

I conducted interviews with key figures and athletes representing Japan to gain insight into the current state of padel culture in Tokyo. Overall, padel is still an emerging sport in Japan, unlike in Spain where it is already widely established. Based on the information gathered through interviews and research, I organized and directed photoshoots that reflected the current culture and atmosphere surrounding padel in Tokyo.

My images were published in the magazine’s first issue and were featured on both the front and back covers.

The magazine is currently available for sale in several bookstores across New York City.
