Project Objective:
To document UTMB races and participants through a compelling visual story that captures the challenge, environment, and human experience of trail running.
Project Approach:
A compelling trail-running story is built through the interplay of nature, movement, and emotion. I use landscape imagery to establish the atmosphere and scale of the race, while a range of focal lengths allows me to move between wide environmental perspectives and intimate moments of action and emotion. By combining the terrain with the athletes’ effort and experience, I aim to create imagery that captures not only what the race looks like, but what it feels like to be there.
